Council Staff and Councillors joined forces this October to raise funds for the Black Dog Institute by participating in the “One Foot Forward” walk for mental health fundraiser.
CEO- Alex Waldron said;
“Well done to the amazing Upper Lachlan Shire Council staff and Councillors who took the time to walk and raise funds for this important cause. Initiatives such as this not only bring people together for a bit of fun but raise funds for vital mental health support and prevention.”
The Black Dog Institute raised over 5 million dollars this year and Upper Lachlan were proud to have been able to contribute to such a great cause walking 2659 kilometers that is further than walking from Crookwell to Uluru and raising $3294 dollars for the cause.
