On Saturday, March 14th, Mayor Paul Culhane and Councillor Alexandra Meggitt participated in a walk to raise awareness for veterans’ mental health.
Starting at 3 a.m., Mr. Culhane and Ms. Meggitt embarked on their journey from the Crookwell Services Club to the Taralga Show. They were warmly welcomed by an applauding crowd upon their arrival around midday.
The pair were accompanied by their loyal companions, Jake and Cliff, who also appeared exhausted by the lengthy walk.
The walking initiative continues throughout March, aiming to cover a total distance of 192 kilometres.
