Council will undertake critical after-hours repairs to the town water supply main below the Crookwell Reservoir during three evenings in the coming week to improve long-term water delivery and system reliability for the community.
Works will take place on Tuesday 10 February, Wednesday 11 February and Thursday 12 February 2026, between 9:00pm and 5:00am each night. McGaw Road, Croker Place and Reservoir Road in Crookwell will have their water turned off. These essential upgrades are part of Council’s ongoing commitment to maintaining safe and reliable water services for residents.
During the works period, residents may experience reduced water pressure between 9:00pm and 5:00am. To support crews and help minimise disruptions, Council is asking the community to limit water use to essential activities from Monday 9 February through Friday 13 February, and to avoid or minimise irrigation of gardens and lawns where possible.
Council staff thank residents in advance for their cooperation and patience while these important upgrades are completed. The works are necessary to strengthen infrastructure and improve water delivery for the broader community.
Residents with questions or concerns are encouraged to contact Council’s Water, Sewer and Waste team on (02) 4830 1000 during business hours or email [email protected]
NB: Letterbox drops are being undertaken across Crookwell township to notify residents accordingly
