Upper Lachlan Shire Council will commence stormwater works on Warrataw Street, Gunning between Yass street and Lerida Street.
Works will be undertaken from next Monday 31 August 2026 and are expected to take 8-10 weeks. Works involve installing subsurface stormwater pipes along both sides of Warrataw St, replacing existing kerb and gutter and landscaping.
Council expect minor interruptions to access for residents along Warrataw St (within proximity of works) for the duration of the project, unfortunately this is unavoidable due to the nature of works however Council will endeavor to minimise these interruptions and communicate with residents regarding access.
Council hope to work in logical sections to minimise any one resident’s interruptions. Council apologises for any inconvenience caused by this work.
