Pre-Polling Venue for Upper Lachlan Shire Council (7th – 13th September 2024) – CROOKWELL ONLY
Emily Chalker Sports Venue opposite Council at 26 Robertson Street Crookwell will be facilitating the pre-poll voting from Saturday 7 September until Friday 13th September.
Accessibility: Assisted access, No designated accessible parking

Mon – Wed: 8:30am – 5:30pm
Thu: 8:30am – 8:00pm
Fri: 8:30am – 6:00pm
Sat: 9:00am – 6:00pm
NOTE: Sunday 8 September no voting will be available
Vote by post for the 2024 NSW Local Government elections
Postal vote applications are now open for the 2024 NSW Local Government elections. Apply online or download an application form.
Applications close at 5pm Monday, 9 September 2024.
Residents MUST vote at a polling place within their enrolled Council area. Eligible electors may apply for a postal vote online if they meet one of the below criteria’s
You can apply if you:
- will be outside your ward or council area
- will be more than 8km from a polling place
- will be travelling
- are a resident in a hospital, aged care facility or retirement village
- are seriously ill, disabled or approaching childbirth (or caring for someone who is)
- have religious beliefs that prevent you from attending
- are in prison or a correctional centre
- will be working
- are a silent elector (note: you must already be registered with the Australian Electoral Commission as a silent elector)
- are a person with a disability
- believe that attending will pose a risk to your personal safety or the safety of your family
- are self-isolating because of COVID-19
- believe that attending will pose a risk to your or another person’s health or safety because of COVID-19.
