26-01-2014
Despite a chilly start to the day in the Upper Lachlan Shire, Australia Day 2014 was a wonderful celebration of community where people from all over the Shire came together to acknowledge the contributions made by some special people in our region.
Dermot O’Gorman from the World Wildlife Foundation (WWF) was the Australia Day Ambassador who shared hs thoughts of what it means to be an Australian, as well as presenting awards to all the winners at each of the ceremonies.
Overall the day was a celebration of what’s great to be an Australian.
