At the Ordinary Council meeting on the 12 December 2024, Council resolved to extend the period of FREE ENTRY to the Crookwell Pool until the end of the 2024/2025 pool season (March).
CEO Alex Waldron acknowledged the community’s desire to make the most of the pool, stating, “In good faith, Council are not only extending the FREE entry period but having alleviated some of our staffing issues, we aim to keep the pool open all season including Public Holidays excluding Christmas Day.”
With a hot summer expected, it is hoped that the extended hours and free entry will enable more of the community to cool off over the festive season and school holidays.
