Community Update: Potential Service Impacts due to Industrial Action by United Services Union

Upper Lachlan Shire Council would like to inform the community about the potential impacts on service delivery due to the ongoing industrial action by some members of the United Services Union.

Updates will be available on Council webpage and facebook

Impacted Services:

1. Waste Collection (Kerbside Bin collection)

  Rubbish collection in the Upper Lachlan Shire may not occur as scheduled. Residents are advised to leave their bins kerbside as usual, and they will be collected once the service resumes.

2. Waste Transfer Centres:

  All Waste Transfer Centres in the shire are currently closed

3. Administration Offices:

Council’s Gunning Office is currently closed. Crookwell and Taralga are still operational.

Crookwell Service NSW functions are operating.

4. Library Services:

 Library services in the Upper Lachlan are operational.

5. Visitor Information Centre in Crookwell:

  The Crookwell Visitor Information Centre is open and operational
