On Friday 19 July the Crookwell Pool marked a milestone as the Myrtha pool liner was installed to the 25m pool and the tap turned on filling the pool in readiness for the summer season.
CEO Alex Waldron said “Everyone behind this project have been working tirelessly with the pool taking shape and commissioning to begin shortly. I have been at the helm working closely with the contractors and projects team to ensure it is ready for the summer season deadline for our residents to be able to enjoy the facilities.”
Next stages are to complete works to grout the tiles in the toddlers pool as well as installation of pool fencing, with the aim to have this finalised in the next two weeks.
A site clean up will occur over the next 2-3 weeks but it is with much anticipation and excitement the pools are shaping up and will be ready for the summer swim season.
