Upper Lachlan Shire Council invites expressions of interest from persons who would like to become a member of the Upper Lachlan Shire Council Section 355 Tourism and Event Management Advisory Committee.
The Upper Lachlan Shire Council Section 355 Tourism and Event Management Advisory Committee provides advice to Council on Tourism and Event Management, with a link between Council and key emerging industry sectors with the aim to raise awareness of the value that tourism and events provide to our region.
The Committee meets every three months or by arrangement to discuss matters relating to tourism and events relating to the Upper Lachlan Shire Council.
Membership of the Committee will consist of three Councillors (voting), three community representatives (voting), the Council CEO or representative (non-voting) and Council staff as required (non-voting).
Persons interested in applying to be a community representative and who live within the Upper Lachlan Shire local government area are eligible to apply. Please see link to the Committee Charter for further details.
