DETAILS PROVIDED BY THE NSW ELECTORAL COMMISSION
The NSW State election is on Saturday, 25 March 2023 and it is compulsory to vote. Please remember to check your enrolment details.
If you can’t make it to a voting centre on election day, you may be eligible to vote early in-person at an early voting centre or vote by post.
This year the Pre Poll voting centre for Upper Lachlan will be located at the Emily Chalker Sports Centre in Crookwell.
The NSW Electoral Commission has supplied the following helpful information.
- If you are blind or have low vision, you can vote by telephone.
- You can use the NSW Electoral Commission’s ‘Find my electorate’ tool to find out where to vote, or simply check out the list below. Type in your enrolled address in the search bar for information on early voting and election day voting centres, including location and opening hours.
- You can watch and share the animated videos to find out more about the elections and how to vote.
- Every early voting and election day voting centre has magnifying sheets and large grip pens. Many voting centres are also staffed by bilingual election officials. These officials will be wearing stickers with the language(s) they speak.
- Access information in 24 community languages and Auslan about how to vote at the 2023 NSW State election.
- You can download and print factsheets (available on this page) about voting in the 2023 NSW State election.
- You can take a friend, family member or support worker with you if you need help to vote, or you can ask an election official.
- Sign up for free reminders about NSW State and local government elections.
