PUBLIC NOTICE – INTERNATIONALLY ACCLAIMED CONCERT PIANIST VISITS GUNNING – SUNDAY 24 NOVEMBER

Among the Upper Lachlan Shire’s many attractions, we have a uniquely exceptional chamber music venue in Gunning – The Courtroom: Gunning’s Home of Chamber Music.
Many musicians and music lovers have told us the historic courtroom’s ambience and superb acoustics make for maximum enjoyment. The audience sits up close and personal to connect intimately with the players – a delight not experienced in places like the Opera House.
The next opportunity for people to experience this for themselves is coming up on Sunday 24 November. The internationally acclaimed pianist Edward Neeman will by playing the Shire’s new grand piano.

This crackerjack musician will give a “Heroic Recital” showcasing the power and beauty of some superb music. The audience will be treated to:
– Beethoven’s “Eroica” Variations;
– Chopin’s “Heroic” Polonaise;
– Liszt’s transcription of Tannhauser by Wagner;
– and more.
