The NSW Rural Fire Service is getting ready for bush and grass fires and they want to make sure that you are to.
Across the Southern Tablelands this weekend brigades will be opening up their doors to help you, your family, and your property get ready for the oncoming season.
From Marulan to Wallaroo, our Volunteers have some jam-packed days ready with events like demonstrations, Kids activities, and workshops, as well as lots of information on how to ensure your property and your family are well prepared.

Friday 15th September:
- Springfield Brigade (1093 Spring Range Rd. Springrange) – 5pm to 8pm
Saturday 16th September:
- Bungonia Brigade (Bunnings Goulburn Cnr Hume St &, Ducks Ln, Goulburn NSW 2580) – 9am to 5pm
- Crookwell Brigade (Goulburn Street, Crookwell) – 9am to 12pm
- Tallong Brigade (Memorial Dr. Tallong) – 9am to 12pm
- Tarago Brigade (Tarago Town Hall, 18 Wallace Street, Tarago) – from 9am to 1pm
- Wallaroo Brigade (468 Wallaroo Rd, Wallaroo) – 9am to 1pm
- Towrang Brigade (498 Towrang Rd, Towrang) – 10am to 2pm
- Broadway Brigade (Flaknell Creek Rd, Near Rye Park Rd) – 10am to 2pm
- Marulan Brigade (48 Portland Avenue, Marulan) – 10am to 2pm

- Parkesbourne Brigade (13 Yarra School Rd) – 1pm to 5pm

- Gunning Brigade (90 Yass St, Gunning) – 9am to 12pm
- Oolong Brigade (147 Hillgrove Rd, Oolong) – 10am to 2 pm
- Bellmount Forest Brigade (Baines Rd, Bellmount Forest) – 11am – 1pm
- Peelwood Brigade (Dempsey Street, Peelwood) – 12pm – 4pm
- Gundary Brigade (Yattalunga Rd, Tirrannaville) – 2pm to 5pm
Saturday 23rd September:
- Yass River Brigade (322 Greenwood Rd, Murrumbateman) – 8am to 1pm
Sunday 30 September:
- Laggan Brigade (15 Peelwood Rd, Laggan) – 10am to 4pm
Sunday 8 October:
- Bowning Brigade (28 Bowning Rd, Bowning) – 11am to 2pm
Saturday 22 October:
- Narrawa Brigade (5484 Boorowa Rd, Narrawa) – 2pm to 4pm

For September, NSW RFS – Murrumbateman Rural Fire Brigade has been doing an online campaign to promote tips and hints on how to prepare your family and property for the upcoming Bush Fire Danger that commences on the 1st of October.
