Council is pleased to announce the completion of the Robertson Lane, Crookwell project after successfully receiving grant funding of $310,000 as part of Roads to Recovery (State Government Grant).
East Street to Park Street had repairs occur during the months of August – September, the 7 week project included service relocation, drainage works, installation of curb and guttering, pavement rehabilitation and bitumen sealing as well as signage and line marking.
Colleen Worthy, General Manager said it was fantastic to have this project completed.
“It has been a project that, since I started with Council, we have tried to source funding, and without being successful on this grant it would have been impossible to complete,” she said.
“I know the residents and businesses in this area were particularly challenged due to the location being utilised regularly by trucks and heavy vehicles so improvements will make the journey along this road much more efficient.”
