Shire organisations benefit from Stronger Communities Program

Bannister District Hall, the Crookwell Uniting Church and the Goulburn Crookwell Heritage Railway were among successful applicants under the Stronger Communities Programme.

Mr Taylor recently joined Exeter Tennis Club member, Greg Wilkins, to discuss the upgrades to be carried out on the clubhouse and repair work to the courts totalling $20,000 as one of the other successful applicants.

“The Stronger Communities Programme aims to improve community participation by funding small capital projects,” Mr Taylor said.

“This project will deliver huge social benefit for a small, local club and ensure this important community facility is kept in good condition for the community to use.”
