Council has been preparing its sports fields for the upcoming season and they are looking mint.
Council’s Parks and Gardens team takes pride in what they do and a lot of work goes into maintaining Upper Lachlan Shires sports fields.
Director of Environment and Planning Alex Waldron said it was encouraging to see so many clubs using the facilities provided by Council.
“I’m sure we are the envy of the region when visiting teams see the great condition of our fields despite the challenging weather conditions in recent years,” she said.
“Council would like to remind all clubs and user groups to book the sports field and any associated amenities as soon as they are aware of their fixtures. The applicable fees associated with the use of council facilities must also be paid using the appropriate booking and payment system.
“This allows Council to appropriately schedule the servicing of these bookings and continue to provide such a high standard of service.‘’
