Upper Lachlan Shire Celebrate The Hume Police District Medal and Awards Ceremony

On Tuesday 30 July 2024, Mayor Pam Kensit joined members of The Hume District Police Force, family, friends and distinguished guests as part of the Medal and Awards Ceremony held in Goulburn.

The NSW Police Force recognises the commitment, dedication and hard work of police officers and employees – past and present. There are a number of categories that officers and employees can be acknowledged for their contribution to the organisation and the community.

Two members of the Upper Lachlan Shire Community were recognised for their efforts in their positions with The Hume Police District Police Force.

Detective Senior Constable Dale Croker was awarded the National Police Service Medal – National Medal -NSW Police Medal-1st Clasp (15 years) District Commanders Unit Citation.

Mr Scott Hunter, Region Commander’s Certificate of Merit, Scott will be retiring from The Hume Police District Force

Mayor Kensit said “I was honoured to be present at The Hume Police District Medals and Awards Ceremony. It was a  wonderful opportunity to recognise the wonderful work carried out by the police in our region. Congratulations to all the recipients and a big shout out to Crookwell’s Dale Croker and Scott Hunter.”
