The following are roadworks commenced, completed or continued in the week ending 10 November, and those which were scheduled for the week ending 17 November 2023.

Week ending Fri 10 November 2023:

Construction Crew:

  • East Street Crookwell – Seal prep and drainage

Drainage Crew:

  • Installing pipes on Peelwood Road and prep work for Brayton Road culvert repair

Week ending Fri 17 November 2023:

Construction crew:

  • Airport entrance seal prep work

Maintenance Crew:

  • Tyrl Tyrl Rd Drainage
  • Fullerton Rd Premixing
  • Regional Roads premixing

Maintenance Grading Crew

  • Gravel Resheeting Kennedy Road
  • Grading Hewitts Lane

Drainage crew:

  • Storm damage repairs to Brayton Rd causeway

Staff Training – Traffic Control

Major projects

  • MR54 – Works are continuing on the Natural Disaster / Slip area North of Tuena.
    • Earthworks, SO kerb and hydro-mulching works were completed on Friday 10th November.
    • Asphalting will start Tuesday 14th with minor delays expected to complete this critical work.
    • The road will continue to have 1 lane closed and under traffic lights day and night until work is completed within the next fortnight.
  • MR54 – Drainage natural disaster remediation works continue North of Tuena

The works will take approximately 1 more week, with 1 lane closed during the day only for these works to be completed.

  • MR54 – Asphalting of damaged pavement on the Hairpin bends leading to the Abercrombie river will take place on Wednesday 15th November

Minor delays expected to complete this critical work

  • MR54 – Heavy patching will commence between Alison Hone Reserve and Woodhouselee Road the Week of the 20th November.

The works will take approximately 1 week, with 1 lane closed during the day only for these important works to be completed.

  • MR54 – Drainage natural disaster remediation works between Sooley Creek and Pejar Dam are programed to commence on Monday 4th December.

The works will take approximately 1 more week, with 1 lane closed during the day only for these works to be completed.
