The following is a list of commenced and completed roadworks for the weeks beginning 2 January and 9 January 2023.
Work commenced or completed in the week ending 13 January 2023:
- Construction of concrete drain covers for K & G in Gunning.
- Bog hole excavation and backfill on Leary’s Ln, Gullen Flat Rd & Walkom’s Ln.
- Maintenance gravel patching and patch grading on Mutmutbilli Rd, Parkesbourne Rd, Baxter’s Ln and Lerida Rd South.
- Maintenance shoulder grade on section of Collector/Breadalbane Rd near M31 crossover bridges.
- Construction crew gravel re sheeting and grading Mulgowrie Road
- Maintenance grading undertaken on Flacknell Creek Rd and Little Plains Rd.
- Maintenance grading, storm restoration and gravel patching on MR241.
- Concrete crew completed Beam bases for Stone Quarry Cemetery Taralga before Christmas and contractors installed beams Thu 12th and Fri 13th Jan.
- Drain formed in Council owned paddock to reduce the risk of flooding for houses in Carr St (photos attached)
- Flood depth indicator signs re-erected on Catherine’s Creek causeway and Blakney Creek causeway on MR241.
- Gravel road, drive to conditions signs erected on Sapphire & Bialla Rds.
- Excavation and backfilling of bog holes on MR241
- Gravelling & flood restoration on MR241.
Work starting week beginning 16 January 2023:
- Collector Rd maintenance grading and storm restoration.
- Ladevale Rd batter stabilisation to repair shoulder subsidence.
- Maintenance grading of MR241 & Pudman Creek Rd
- Drainage work and storm restoration on MR241
- Tar patching on Collector/Breadalbane Rd.
- Re-erection of flood depth indicator sign on Lerida Creek on Puckett’s Ln
- Construction crew gravel re sheeting Mulgowrie Road with contract trucks
- Construction crew gravelling and grading Sylvia Vale Road with council trucks
- Drainage crew installing new pipes and clearing drains on Lucky Swamp Rd
