The following are roadworks commenced, completed or continued in the week ending 2 February 2024, and those which were scheduled for the week ending 9 February 2024.
Week ending Friday 2 February 2024:
Construction Crew: Dalton Rd Rehab – Shoulder widening, roadside drainage and culvert replacement.
Maintenance Grading Crew: MR241, Little Plains Rd – Maintenance grading & maintenance gravel patching.
Maintenance Crew: Due to staff absences, crew was folded into construction crew for the week on Dalton Rd Rehab.
Week ending Friday 9 February 2024:
Construction crews:
Gravel re sheeting Currans Road and final trimming Court Street and Church Street, Taralga
Maintenance grading Saphire Road and final trimming Wheeo Road
Dalton Road Rehab – Shoulder widening, culvert replacement & roadside drainage.
Maintenance Crew:
Dalton/Jerrawa Road – Roadside drainage.
Breadalbane Road – Tar Patching.
MR54 – Crack sealing Sunday evening – night 4/2/2024 in preparation for upgraded linemarking. Continue to attend to priority maintenance issues as they arise.

Maintenance Grading Crew:
MR241 – Maintenance grading & maintenance gravel patching.
Major Works:
MR54 – Natural disaster drainage remediation works. (Crookwell to Goulburn)
- Works started on 29th January between Alison Hone Reserve and Woodhouselee Road.
- The road will be closed in one direction with speed restrictions in place during the day until 15th February.
MR54 – Upcoming works
- Signage upgrade – Junction point, Tuena Creek near the “Doll’s House”
- Roundabout Asphalting – Spring Street x Goulburn Street
- Wombat Crossing (TfNSW Project) – Goulburn Street Crookwell Including linemarking and 40km/h speed reduction of (HPAA) from Colyer to Roberts Street.
- Resealing – near these locations, Alison Hone Reserve, Pejar Dam, Wades Hill and Bridge Creek Road.
Contractor Works:
- Heavy Patching on MR248W Boorowa Road and MR52 Gundaroo Road to address bad patches for road safety.
- Resealing continuing/nearing completion on Cullerin Road
