The following are roadworks commenced, completed or continued in the week ending 25 August, and those scheduled for the weeks ending 1 September 2023 and 8 September 2023.
Week ending 25 August 2023
CONSTRUCTION CREW
- Crookwell Aerodrome Upgrade – gravelling driveway, hard stand and hangar pads.
MAINTENANCE CREW
- Pothole patching
Boorowa Road, Sylvia Vale Road, Kangaloolah Road, Peelwood Road, Fullerton Road, Golspie Road, Diamond Road.
- Tar patching
Gurrundah Road, Cullerin Road, Mullin’s Creek Road, Bevendale Road, Rugby Road, Cook’s Hill Road,
- Maintenance grading
Foggs Crossing Road, Woodhouselee Road.
- MR 241 – Erect Depth Gauge sign at Blakney Creek Causeway.
- MR52, Rugby Rd – Drainage Maintenance & Remediation.
- MR54 maintenance crew have completed safety signage installation and preparation for sealing of Wades Hill, which will be conducted in the near future once the ground temperature increases.
Proposed activities for week ending 1 September 2023
CONSTRUCTION CREW
- Crookwell Aerodrome Upgrade – Gravelling & Final Trim on Driveway, Hardstand & Hangar Pads.
- Glenfield Rod – gravelling and heavy patches on MR 54.
- Lin Cooper Fields – trimming up for top soil.
- Kangaloolah Road – construction work.
- Heavy Patching will start tomorrow the 29th August on MR54, beginning at Alison Hone Reserve this week and then moving to Pejar, North of Saint Stephens Road, for a further 3 weeks. There will be short delays in those areas as we will have one lane closed each day to complete the works.
CONCRETE CREW
- Spring Street – kerb and gutter replacement.
DRAINAGE CREW
- Cuddyong and Kangaloolah Road – storm damage, drainage maintenance and pipe replacement.
MAINTENANCE GRADING CREW
- Gunning Tip Road, Medway’s Lane, Unsealed Gunning Streets & Collector Road – maintenance grading and remedial gravel patching where required.
MAINTENANCE CREW
- Taralga – Oberon Road – pothole patching.
- Grabben Gullen Road – pothole patching.
- Woodhouselee Road – maintenance grading.
- McAlister Road – maintenance grading.
- Grabine Road – maintenance grading.
- Rugby Road – drainage maintenance and remediation.
- MR241 – tar patching of Collector Road, Breadalbane Road.
- MR54 maintenance crew will be working on some major defects just north of Pejar dam this week, and continuing maintenance on the network from Goulburn to Abercrombie River.
- Survey and Preparation works, including the delivery of Gravel, is under way for the remediation of the roadway slip which is currently down to 1 lane North of Tuena.
