The libraries at Crookwell and Gunning came alive with laughter and creativity as children aged 5 and over gathered to make Easter crafts, part of a broader series of community celebrations hosted by Upper Lachlan Shire Council.
During the hour-long sessions, young participants threw themselves into a colourful mix of materials – cutting, folding, and painting their way through fluffy-tailed decorations and hand-painted eggs. The enthusiasm in the room was infectious, and to top it all off, each child received a little chocolate treat to sweeten the occasion ahead of Easter.
Upper Lachlan Shire Council remains committed to bringing free, family-friendly events to residents across the region. Stay tuned for upcoming activities – there’s always something on the horizon worth celebrating together.
