Upper Lachlan Shire Council is seeking expressions of interest from community members to join the newly formed Upper Lachlan Shire Taralga War Memorial Hall Management Committee
Council’s Taralga War Memorial Hall committee will be made up of a diverse range of residents/ ratepayers within the Upper Lachlan Shire. The selected committee meet regularly to help provide advice and support in the operation of the Taralga War Memorial Hall.
To register interest please make a submission addressed to the CEO in writing and include the following information:
- Full name
- Contact email and phone number
- Residential address
- Reason(s) why you would be appropriate to join the committee, any experience you have with committees
- Acceptance that you have read and understood the Section 355 Committee Policy and Section 355 Code of Meeting Practice available here
Functions of the Committee:
The care, control and management of the Taralga War Memorial Hall in accordance with the requirements of the Local Government Act 1993 and Regulations, Council policies and within the funds voted by Council.
Meets: As required by Upper Lachlan Shire Council Section 355 Committee Policy and agreed Charter.
