Action & Master Plans

Council has removed load limits on the following concrete bridges effective 5 pm Friday 13 September 2019. Some advisory signs may remain in place after the load limits are removed. New traffic control signs may remain in place to ensure public safety. The summary of investigations to date including the relevant engineering reports are attached below for each of the concrete bridges assessed to date.

Boorowa Rd -CR141 – Wheeo Creek Bridge

Section 3 elaborates on how the principles are applied to issues and to the geography of the Local Government Area. There are eight principles and thirty-two actions.

Section 4 takes the final principles and structural elements and deals with the geographic structure and locality statements of the Shire to identify where various types of development will be focused.

Local Strategic Planning Statement

The attached document is Council’s adopted Development Servicing Plan for Sewer – Crookwell, Gunning and Taralga (prepared under Section 64 of the Local Government Act 1993 and Section 306 of the Water Management Act 2000).

The Plan was adopted by Council on 19 February 2009 and took effect from 20 February 2009.

The attached document is Council’s adopted Development Servicing Plan for Water – Crookwell, Gunning, Taralga and Dalton (prepared under Section 64 of the Local Government Act 1993 and Section 306 of the Water Management Act 2000).

Section 94A Development Contributions Plan

The Community Participation Plan (CPP) will set out how planning authorities will engage with the community across their statutory planning functions, (i.e. laws made by the NSW Government).

While the plans must meet the minimum requirements for community participation that are set out in Schedule 1 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 (EP&A Act), Council can go beyond the minimum requirements if they decide it is appropriate.

Upper Lachlan Community Participation Plan

An amendment to Upper Lachlan Development Control Plan 2010 has been adopted by Council on 16 June 2022 and takes effect from 28 June 2022 (Amendment No. 6).

This Development Control Plan supports the provisions of Upper Lachlan Local Environmental Plan 2010 which commenced on 9 July 2010.
