Upper Lachlan Shire Council, supported by Southern Tablelands Arts, organised the Arts Trail to coincide with the 150th anniversary of the Gunning Railway Station and Crookwell Open Gardens. The Railway Stations milestone was celebrated with creative showcases from Gunning and Southern Tablelands artists, a vibrant atmosphere, and local musicians added to the festivities. The event not only honoured Gunning’s rich railway heritage but also highlighted the importance of the arts, culture and heritage in regional communities.
Council CEO Alex Waldron attended the event at Gunning on Sunday, 2nd November, at Connect@ Gunning, engaging with artists, organisers, and Councillors, and would like to express her appreciation to all those that contributed to the success of these events.
