MEDIA RELEASE SUPPLIED BY THE OFFICE OF MEMBER FOR GOULBURN, WENDY TUCKERMAN

An improved bus service is set to benefit Goulburn and Crookwell communities, thanks to an enhanced timetable now being delivered by PBC Goulburn.

Member for Goulburn, Wendy Tuckerman petitioned the NSW Government late last year for the modified timetable at the request of PBC Goulburn.

Transport for NSW supported these improvements and PBC Goulburn have been hard at work preparing for its introduction which took place on Monday 27th February 2023.

“The addition of new stops along Marys Mount Rd including Mistful Park along with additional services to Eastgrove, with the aim to enhance accessibility for commuters in both Goulburn and Crookwell” Mrs Tuckerman said.

“We have a number of residents within Goulburn Mulwaree and the Upper Lachlan Shire, who are reliant on buses for their transport needs.”

“The extra services will support the many new homes in Marys Mount as well as rural and regional passengers.”

Route 824 will no longer operate and will be replaced by Route 818 operating three daily return trips (Monday to Friday) via St Aubyn Rd. Route 825 will operate an additional two trips per day (Monday to Friday).
