About this policy
At Council’s February 15 2024 meeting Council endorsed the “Draft Nature Strip and Trees Policy” and requested it to go on public exhibition in accordance with the Local Government Act 1993 (NSW).
The purpose of the Nature Strip and Trees Policy is to provide clarity on the provision of Council’s services across the Shire
This is a new policy that will align the nature strip and tree management services across the Shire and provide clarity to the community and permit the effective allocation of resources.

Community and stakeholder input is important. Your feedback will be considered and the final draft will go to Council for adoption. This policy is on public exhibition from 4 March 2024 until 4pm 2 April 2024.
