Community Feedback Sought on Upgraded Gunning Pool and Barbour Park Amenities

The Gunning Pool and Barbour Park Amenities building have recently been upgraded through a grant awarded under the NSW Office of Sport’s Female Friendly Community Sports Facilities and Lighting Upgrades Program.

As part of its evaluation of this grant program, the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) Centre for Sport, Business and Society (CSBS) has prepared a survey that is seeking the views of people who have used facilities that have recently been upgraded through the Program.  This includes people that have visited or used the facilities for sports, physical activity, recreation, or as spectators, supporters, or volunteers.

The feedback gathered from this survey will help inform the Office of Sport on the impact of the Female Friendly Community Sports Facilities and Lighting Upgrades Program and improve and enhance potential future funding programs offered by the NSW Government.

It will take approximately 10 minutes to complete and can be completed on a desktop, laptop, or a mobile device.

In addition to this survey, facility end-users will also be invited to volunteer to participate in a one-on-one or small group interview with UTS researchers. The interviews will be held after funded projects have been completed.
