In response to the valuable feedback received from our community members, Upper Lachlan Shire Council has announced an additional out of business hours SRV community engagement meeting.

This meeting is specifically dedicated to discussing the proposed special rate variation (SRV), aiming to ensure that the community have an additional opportunity to engage in this crucial decision-making process.

The Council recognises the significance of this proposed rate variation and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for residents to gain important information and share their thoughts with Council.

By scheduling this supplementary meeting outside of regular working hours, the Council aims to accommodate the needs of a wider range of community members, ensuring that everyone has an equal opportunity to participate and contribute to the discussions.

This extra session serves as an extension of the Council’s dedication to transparency and 6 scheduled community engagement sessions, emphasising the importance of collaborative decision-making in shaping the future of the Upper Lachlan.
