Council takes great pride in maintaining local parks and encourages everyone to use them while the sun is shining and also when it’s not).
Barbour Park in Gunning is looking particularly stunning at the moment and is the perfect area to go for a walk, have a picnic or grab some hot chips and have an early dinner before the chill of winter sets in.
Barbour Park has been chosen as one of the areas to install the new Big Belly Bins.
This will help reduce the number of unsightly bins currently in front of the pool due to the caravan park situated within the park.
Council will be looking to revamp the garden bed outside the pool to a low maintenance high impact to compliment the rest of the park.
