Upper Lachlan Shire Council Mayor and CEO open the new all abilities, inclusive playground at Coleman Park to the community.
The project costing over $550,000 was delivered by a NSW Government – Everyone Can Play grant, funding obtained from the Veolia Mulwaree trust, and Council funds.
CEO Alex Waldron said;
“The reception from parents and children alike has been so positive, there’s something for everyone and the fun extends a wide age range.
This project suffered significant delays in its delivery so I’m pleased to see it finally open to the community.”
Features include a bespoke tower slide and dinky scooter/bike track with play garage and cafe stops along the way. Swings, balance beams, monkey bars, all ability carousel and nest swing, along with mini trampolines and imaginative play elements ensure all ages and abilities can join in the fun.
