The Upper Lachlan Shire has a proud history of sporting achievements. For more than sixty years individuals from this local government area have represented Australia at the pinnacle of sport. Upper Lachlan Shire Council recognises the importance of sport in this region at any level.
Sport, not only is good for the health and well-being of our community but it unites our people in times of need.
Upper Lachlan Shire Council has done it’s best to provide and maintain the local sports fields and amenities over the last twenty years since amalgamation in 2004.
We remain grateful to all the Council Parks and Gardens staff and community volunteers involved in maintaining a high standard of sports grounds and sports clubs over the years. Upper Lachlan Shire Council looks forward to working even more closely with clubs and volunteer groups to continue to provide a variety of excellent sporting facilities in our shire.
