Condolence messages for the Queen

12-09-2022

With the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, Upper Lachlan Shire Council has received calls and messages regarding passing on condolences.

“This is a particularly sad and sombre occasion for many people who would like to pass on their personal condolences and thoughts,” said General Manager Colleen Worthy.

“The Office of Local Government (OLG) has advised how people can leave an online condolence message at this link.

“Alternately, OLG has printed condolence sheets that you can download at home and send to the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet. These can also be accessed at Council’s Libraries and the Crookwell Visitor Information Centre.

“Those who wish to can also view the photo gallery celebrating her life and the digital collection of official Royal Visits to Australia.”

A minute’s silence will be offered for the passing of the Queen at the September Ordinary Meeting of Council.
